About Us
We are Neighborhood Outreach Ministries. Inc. Operating since 2011, e aim to provide services that will uplift, impact and improve the status of our community. We are nestled in the heart of the South Augusta community to help and serve those that are in need. We serve by appointment and are open two to three days a week.

After outgrowing the Skinner's kitchen and front porch, we purchased an empty home right next door. This home has now transitioned to what is now known as "The Help House." The Help House continues to meet the needs of the people by being the headquarters of Neighborhood Outreach Ministries. We continue to provide meals upon request, respond to emergencies and disasters, house youth initiative groups, and provide an on-site food pantry. In addition to providing crucial needs, we educate those that we help. We enjoy teaching people the skills needed to succeed. We offer programs such as family support, life skills and introduction to technology and computer skills. We offer career development skills such as form completion, how to apply for jobs , construct resumes, interview skills and more. All classes and skill development sessions are available by appointments.

We are aware there are many benefits that comes from educating those that we serve. Many are economically disadvantaged with various backgrounds and needs. It is our belief that once we educate and meet the needs of those in our communities, this will benefit families and push them towards the wholeness they need to impact the world. It is our desire to decrease food insecurity and homelessness while increasing literacy rates, job opportunities and independence.
The days we are not open to the community, we spend time contacting our community partners and local businesses to develop opportunities for those that we serve. It is our intent to partner with other agencies that have the same mission. We would love for you to partner with us to help those in need. We feel that we can accomplish great things when we all come together.
Our Mission
The mission of the Neighborhood Outreach Ministries, Inc. is to provide hope and help to those who are less fortunate than others. Whether it is a hot meal, a bag of clothes, support to our local schools, or job training, we are nestled in the heart of the South Augusta community to offer assistance.
Our Vision
Neighborhood Outreach Ministries envisions a community where all individuals and families have the proper resources and obtain the support they need, to reach their full unlimited potential, by having access to education, meal assistance, and community support as they strive for financial stability.
